Zhonglian Metal Plant held the first lean labor competition at drawing station on 20thApril against a whistling of “Begin”. This activity was carefully planned and organized by related leaders.
Adhering to the principle of “Safety First, Competition Second”, the match arranged one security man, two referees and two time-keepers. 26 workers from small drawing station participated in the competition.
Each competitor started from a threading and wrapping of wire size 1.20mm, passing by 22 tooling and ended at normal boot. Time-keepers and referees set the timing while security man made scores for protective wearing such as anti-smashing shoes, ear plugs, goggles etc. The scores of above two parts consist of the total point. Finally Mr. Liu Jisheng won the championship with a score of 7 minutes and 15 seconds after a 2 hours fierce fighting.
The competition was in an atmosphere of intense and pleasure. Department leaders awarded top 3 winners at the end of the match. The rest competitors gained an encouragement award as well. Everyone was filled with great joy and expected that more similar activities would be held in future.
